Peanut-Controlled Professional Soccer Game

In an email from the Anaphylaxis and Food Allergy Association of Minnesota, news of a peanut-controlled professional soccer game! On October 10, at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN, the Minnesota United will offer a peanut-controlled suite. Tickets are $35 each and the game starts at 7 PM. No need to pre-register with AAFA New England for this event, as you will be buying your tickets directly from the baseball team, but it would be helpful to get an idea of how many people to expect for our group.

The stadium will be thoroughly cleaned beforehand and peanut products will not be sold anywhere throughout the ballpark during the game.

The general rule is that food and beverages may not be brought into International League ballparks.

"WE HAVE DATES! Friday, May 8th at 8 p.m. (vs. the Baltimore Orioles) and Sunday, July 5th at 1:05 p.m. (vs. the Tampa Bay Rays) Here's the info:

This season’s Suite Events at Yankee Stadium for Guests with peanut allergies. The dates are for the game scheduled on Friday, May 8th against the Baltimore Orioles at 7:05pm and for the game scheduled on Sunday, July 5th against the Tampa Bay Rays at 1:05pm. The cost will be $100.00 per ticket per person. The seating location will be for a Party City Party Suite. Basic ballpark food and non-alcoholic beverages will be included in the cost of the ticket.

Nashville Sounds Peanut Free Night 2015

The Nashville Sounds will be having their annual peanut free night on May 4, 2015 versus the Iowa Cubs. Tickets may be purchased online. The event is being sponsored by the Allergy Asthma and Sinus Center.

Toledo Mudhens Peanut Free Suite 2015

The Toledo Mudhens are offering fans with peanut allergies the opportunity to purchase tickets to a game in a party suite, "where all items served will be peanut-free products. The all-inclusive ticket will include an all-you-can-eat buffet meal! Fans with "peanut-free event" tickets will be provided early entry into the ballpark." The game dates are April 21 and April 23. The Red Sox will have 4 dates with peanut allergy friendly seating this year. The games are planned in coordination with the New England Chapter of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation or America.

Atlanta Braves Peanut Free Sections 2015

The Atlanta Braves will have two peanut free sections on May 24, 2015. Tickets are $28 per seat in the Club Pavilion section and also includes a $10 food and beverage credit.

Lake County Captains Peanut-Free Game 2015

The Lake County Captains are offering 4 peanut free games-- June 25, 26, 27 and 28! Classic Park is only 15 minutes from Downtown Cleveland, Ohio too.

According to the Captains' website, "Classic Park will be cleaned and sanitized so that our fans with peanut allergies will be able to attend these games with their families and enjoy a ballgame in a peanut free environment."

Louisville Bats Peanut Allergy Awareness Night 2015

The Louisville Bats will be hosting their annual Peanut Allergy Awareness Night on Monday, June 29, 2015 versus the Syracuse Chiefs. The Bats' website states "The Louisville Bats will play without peanuts, and we're asking all fans attending the game to do the same as part of the organization's Peanut Allergy Awareness Night, to benefit families and children with peanut allergies. Kansas City Royals Peanut Allergy Friendly Games 2015

Exciting news! This year, the Kansas City Royals are among the first to announce peanut allergy accommodations for this baseball season. A private suite is being allocated for fans with peanut allergy and their families for nine games. The suite will be in the Joe Burke Suite. The nine game dates for 2015 are: April 18, May 2, May 6, June 18, June 21, July 12, July 21, August 8 and September 26. Chicago Wolves 4th Annual Peanut Allergy Awareness Game 2015

The Chicago Wolves' 4th Annual Peanut Allergy Awareness Game is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 29th at the Allstate Arena. The "entire arena will be nut-free and Section 116 will be power-washed to provide safe seating for those with severe allergies." A portion of the proceeds will be donated to FA. "There are some great games on this schedule.  Our first game is Fernando Rodney bobblehead night.  Get there early to claim your bobblehead.  We also get to see the Kansas City Royals who were in the World Series last season as well as two other playoff teams, Los Angeles Angels and Baltimore Orioles.  Should be a great time this summer.

One item to note is that ticket prices did go up $1 to $12 per ticket.  This is still more than 50% off the regular ticket price for this seating section.  A great deal offered to us by the Mariners."
