Update on Tacoma Rainiers Peanut-Free Seating

From Michael Van Soucie (notice the ticket price for first 100 tickets!):

Well, baseball season has officially started so now is a great time to tell you all about another great opportunity to see baseball in person. The Tacoma Rainiers for the second year now will be offering a peanut free seating section for those that want to come out and see the Mariners of the future.

And this year, thanks to the sponsorship of Seattle Childrens' Hospital, the safe seating area will be on one of the party decks at Cheney Stadium. This is a unique and fun way to experience a baseball game. There is lots of room to mingle and enjoy the weather while also taking in the sights and sounds of the ballgame. This party deck gives you a great chance to snag a foul ball as well.

The date of the game is Sunday, May 24th with a start time of 1:30pm. This is Memorial Day Weekend so a great time even if you have to travel a bit to get there. No need to hurry right home as the next day is a holiday! What a great way to have fun over the holiday weekend without the huge costs of traveling out of state.

Tickets for this section are normally $26, but thanks to the sponsorship of Seattle Childrens' Hospital, the first 100 tickets sold will only cost $13. These tickets also usually come with food on the party deck, but since this is a food allergy awareness event, we have cut the food and this will be replaced with a Tacoma Rainiers souvenir instead. There will be a cotton candy station (sugar and food coloring) on the party deck as well as drinks available to all. You are welcome to bring in your own allergen free foods that your family requires. Just notify the security at the gate that you are with our group.

Please see the attached flyer for more details and for how to order tickets. Please email me if you have any additional questions on information I may have left out. Hope to party with you all on the deck this Memorial Day weekend.

Michael San Soucie (michael.sansoucieATyahoo.com)

P.S. Also remember there are 4 Mariners games this year with a peanut free zone. Go to www.Mariners.com/nopeanuts for more details on those games.
